Anti Bullying Conferences For Young People
The annual ipoweri anti-bullying conferences for young people
In 2005 I Power I in partnership with Actionwork, Stoke Newington School and Project Wolf ran Britains second anti-bullying conference for young people to great success. This was very well attended by young people from all over the country, including the head of the Anti-Bullying Alliance and the Government. Actionwork and ipoweri were now recognised as pioneers of anti-bullying conferences for young people in Britain. Check out the report of the conference here. Both the Government and the Anti-Bullying Alliance set up consultation exercises with young people, and Anti-Bullying Week in November 2005 saw an anti-bullying Conference attended by young people from many regions of England in Westminster. The Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) based their conference on the I Power I Model and continue to look to I Power I for guidance and inspiration for working with young people.
